New album of MERESSIN “Tik Kars Yr Teisybi”
After 13 years the Samogitian war metal band MERESSIN presents the fifth album “Tik Kars Yr Teisybi” (“Only The War Is The Truth”) with 13 new songs. The album was released in May of 2014. It was recorded for several years. All the songs are in Samogitian.
The year 2013 has marked the 600th anniversary since the Christian Europe and the Teutonic Order conquered Samogitia. This album is dedicated to the mention of the last pagans in Europe, Samogitians, 300 years of wards with the Christians. “Let’s remember who we were really, when only the war was the truth,” the band invites.
