FERRUM website
The Lithuanian website FERRUM, which
is focusing on metal music and metal subculture, was
launched in 2002. The website publishes music news,
reports from music events organised in Lithuania and
abroad as well as reviews of music albums and various
articles about metal. Internet users may also find
legal recordings of Lithuanian bands in mp3 format
which are placed in the section "Bands".
English version
of FERRUM includes:
1. About Ferrum - the page you are reading now;
2. Bands - the index of Lithuanian metal bands;
3. Events - reviews of FERRUM events;
4. Interviews - some interviews in English;
5. Articles - some articles in English.
FERRUM events
Ferrum is also indulged in the organisation
of metal music concerts and invites not only Lithuanian
well-known metal bands but also bands from foreign
countries to the Lithuanian metal stage. These concerts
may be called a rather successful contribution of
FERRUM to the Lithuanian metal life regarding both
musicians and listeners.
In the past years FERRUM has invited
such metal music stars as SEPULTURA (BR), OBITUARY (US), KREATOR (DE), NAPALM DEATH (UK), CANNIBAL CORPSE (US), NILE (US), SODOM
(DE), ENTOMBED (SE), ROTTING CHRIST (GR), ENSIFERUM (FI), KRISIUN (BR), INCANTATION (US), BEHEMOTH
(PL), INSOMNIUM (FI), DISMEMBER (SE), ATROCITY (DE), LEAVES' EYES (DE), SKYFORGER (LV), IMPALED NAZARENE
(FI), ASSASSIN (DE), YYRKOON (FR), DEATHBOUND (FI), PSYCROPTIC (AUS) etc. If you are the promoter of

FERRUM
The authors of FERRUM website and
events are young people, working mostly in the fields
of journalism, management, web design and programming.
The participation in FERRUM offers them a unique possibility
